Who Rocked the Red Carpet?

The 96th annual Academy Awards took place last night in Los Angeles, and let me tell you, the fashions were fashioning. Hollywood's biggest and brightest draped their Ozempic filled bodies in everything from silk to sequins. So who stunned on the red carpet and who deserved a citation from the fashion police? Let me, a woman who’s worn the same leggings for 3 days in a row, be the judge of that.  The Oscars/YouTube

Best Dressed - Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande, singer, actress, and alleged husband-stealer, may not have been nominated for an Oscar this year, but she definitely wins the award for “Outfit I’d Most Like To Nap In.”

This look is giving Down Comforter Barbie, and I’m here for it!

The Wicked star served pillow-fort princess in this Snuggie-inspired ensemble. I think everyone who works from home has tried to pull off this look at least once in the last 4 years.  CBS News/YouTube

Worst Dressed - Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie, star of the Best Picture-nominated movie, Barbie, really disappointed on the red carpet at this year’s Oscars. Wow ok, a gorgeous woman looks gorgeous in a gorgeous black gown. Yawn!

Margot Robbie is so beautiful she could make a bag of steamin’ hot dog poop look like a vintage Versace.  I’d actually be more impressed if she somehow managed to look ugly out there. Wear a Leatherface mask next year, you coward!

Some people may think she deserves to be on the best-dressed list, but not me. Sorry, Margot, you’re literally a Barbie and you got to spend an extended period of time with a shirtless Ryan Gosling, you’ve had enough wins for a lifetime.   ExtraTV/YouTube

Best Dressed - Billie Eilish

Goth-pop crooner Billie Eilish, made history last night when she, along with brother Finneas O’Connell, became Oscars’ youngest two-time winners ever, taking home “Best Song” for her mega depressing hit “What Was I Made For” from the movie, Barbie.

Much like her music, Eilish’s outfits are best enjoyed with your eyes closed.

With jet black hair, an uber-conservative schoolgirl uniform, and her signature blank expression, the Oscar winner stunned in a style that mixed Michael Jackson, Wednesday Addams, and a very strict catholic upbringing. Proving sex sells, the 22-year-old dared to show some shin when her ill-fitting knee socks were caught slipping on the red carpet.

No one knows what Eilish was keeping in her ever-present little purse, but hopefully, it was fashion tips for the other celebrities who embarrassingly showed up in beautiful couture like a bunch of people who actually care. How cringe.  CBS News/YouTube

Best Dressed - Ryan Gosling

Last night, America’s sweetheart, also known as Ryan Gosling, was robbed of his Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role of Ken, in the hit movie Barbie. Despite this baffling snub, everyone agreed the former Mickey Mouse Club star won the night with his rockstar performance of “I’m Just Ken.”

The 43 year-old sensitive hunk got pulses racing with his hot pink sparkling suit, matching pink leather gloves, and cool dude sunglasses.  A fun fashion risk that not a lot of guys could confidently pull off. I definitely felt his Kenergy.

In this outfit, or any other, Ryan Gosling forever wins the award for “Best Making Me H***y.” Ryan, call me!  Oscars/YouTube

Worst Dressed - Hailee Steinfeld

Looking like a Disney princess, Hailee Steinfeld, of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, graced the iconic Oscars red carpet in an ethereal light blue nightgown with a casual matching chiffon neck scarf.

I don’t know if she’s ready for Hollywood’s biggest night or for Aladdin to show up and take her on a magic carpet ride, but either way, this look could be improved with a pet monkey.

If Steinfeld ever gets her hand on a magic lamp of her own, she should use all 3 wishes to go on a trip to the mall. Heck, I’d even spot her some of my Kohl’s cash to pick up a matching robe.  Hollywood Insider/YouTube

Worst Dressed - America Ferrera

Much like the country she’s named for, America has made some irresponsible decisions that will affect millions.

I think we can all agree, that the Best Supporting Actress nominee and no longer Ugly Betty star was completely out of her mind for wearing this beautiful Barbie pink Versace chainmail dress that took over 400 hours to make.

Does she even realize what she has done? Does she even care?

This look is going to influence so many women across America to do the unthinkable… cut their hair into a bob! And while admittedly America, 39, looks flawless, she makes my worst-dressed list because she needs to face some sort of punishment for her reckless and thoughtless behavior.  Hollywood Insider/YouTube

Best Dressed - Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, arrived at the 2024 Oscars looking like Hugh Hefner on steroids.  The former wrestler and current Mr. Clean impersonator sported a tight silk suit with a plunging neckline to draw attention to where his chest hair used to be and reinforced seams to prevent a Hulk-like wardrobe malfunction.

The 51-year-old actor was there to present the award for Best International Feature Film, but ended up walking away with an award of his own, Best Glistening Bald Head, which coincidentally also appears silky to the touch.  Access Hollywood/YouTube

Worst Dressed - Emma Stone

Speaking of wardrobe malfunctions, Emma Stone may have won Best Actress for her role in Poor Things, but this poor thing’s dress deserves an Oscar snub for being a hot mess.

Those of us who were traumatized by the peplum fad of the 2010s (you may be entitled to financial compensation) will need a paper bag to breathe in to cope with the PTSD triggered by this embossed Louis Vuitton evening gown.

As Emma accepted her Oscar, the 35-year-old actress revealed her dress was ripped in the back. It was as if Emma’s own body was trying to escape from this monstrosity.  CBS News/YouTube

Best Un-dressed - John Cena

Forget the politics of The Oscars, I think we can all agree, John Cena won the best dressed of the night when he showed up in the buff to present the Oscar for "Best Costume" at last night's Acadamy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

Adding a touch of humor, and a dash of sex appeal, the wrestler-turned actor had celebrity stylists and men who've been skipping the gym shaking, crying, and throwing up. Will this beefcake trend catch on? I don't know, but I think I speak for at least half of America when I say, John, we need to see more!  Access Hollywood/YouTube
