Wenner's artistic journey began with his education at the Rhode Island School of Design and Art Center in Pasadena. He was recruited by NASA while still a student, contributing his skills as an advanced scientific space illustrator. While in Rome, Wenner's encounter with street painters using chalk on pavements sparked his curiosity. Inspired by anamorphism from the Renaissance era, Wenner combined traditional street painting techniques with classic art to create a groundbreaking new art form, 3D pavement art.
